Reliant Defense conducts export compliance assessments and audits.

Our export audits cover compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

Since 2006, Reliant Defense has been conducting ITAR audits, including those requested by the State Department’s Office of Defense Trade Controls Compliance through directed audits and Consent Agreements. We also conduct internal Assessments to support companies striving to meet DDTC or BIS guidelines, benchmark other companies or prepare for an outside audit.

Reliant has supported hundreds of companies with audits, training, licensing support, mentoring of Empowered Officials, and providing onsite support. We are practitioners; not only do we understand the regulatory requirements but we also know how to implement them utilizing best practices and time-tested solutions. Each of our auditors has served in roles as Empowered Officials and Compliance Officers with major defense contractors. This background experience allows Reliant to render certain reasonableness in our audit approach and make useful recommendations based upon actual experience, practicality, industry standards, and best practices while complying with the regulations and meeting USG’s expectations.
